Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 4.88% or 42.0 points to trade at 902.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 0.97% or 11.0 points to end at 1150.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 0.45% or 0.16 points to 35.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 1.91% or 220 points to trade at 11300 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.65% or 180 points to end at 10760 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 1.41% or 4.8 points to 335.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 50 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.45% or 0.24 to $53.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.09% or 0.05 to hit $55.16 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.39% or 4.45 to trade at $1141.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 7.1205, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4345.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 102.76.
