Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 5.82% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 0.19% or 0.30 points to trade at 153.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) fell 1.00% or 7.00 points to end at 693.40 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 1.23% or 1.40 points to 108.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 11.69% or 25.70 points to trade at 194.10 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 11.17% or 10.90 points to end at 86.80 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 10.51% or 1,128.00 points to 9,602.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 130 to 14 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.00% or 7.00 to 693.40. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) fell to 5-year lows; losing 11.17% or 10.90 to 86.80.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 7.33% or 4.91 to $62.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 6.53% or 4.58 to hit $65.56 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 2.47% or 77.19 to trade at $3,044.51 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.60% to 6.79, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 102.35.
