Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.77% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 3.49% or 27.60 points to trade at 818.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 1.60% or 4.20 points to end at 266.60 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.55% or 13.40 points to 879.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 4.59% or 38.30 points to trade at 796.50 at the close. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 2.70% or 17.50 points to end at 630.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) was down 1.63% or 13.50 points to 817.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.16% or 0.11 to $67.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $71.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.68% or 18.35 to trade at $2,676.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.68, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 100.17.
