Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.45% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 0.59% or 1.6 points to trade at 271.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell 0.64% or 1.8 points to end at 279.7 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.86% or 0.8 points to 94.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS), which fell 6.70% or 19.1 points to trade at 265.9 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 5.60% or 77.5 points to end at 1307.0 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was down 3.94% or 25.2 points to 614.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 114 to 14 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.26% or 1.21 to $52.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.50% or 1.47 to hit $57.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.22% or 18.15 to trade at $1507.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.8190, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4655.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 98.732.
