Investing.com’s stocks of the week
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 4.40% or 50.50 points to trade at 1,199.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 3.66% or 4.00 points to end at 112.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was up 2.93% or 8.00 points to 281.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which fell 7.98% or 36.00 points to trade at 415.40 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 3.51% or 18.10 points to end at 498.10 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 3.00% or 28.00 points to 904.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 61 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.24% or 2.31 to $68.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.25% or 2.41 to hit $71.82 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.85% or 29.30 to trade at $3,423.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.44, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 97.43.
