Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.98%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 4.77% or 28.0 points to trade at 615.0 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 2.64% or 8.6 points to end at 334.0 and William Demant Holding A/S (CO:DEMANT) was up 2.44% or 5.0 points to 210.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 9.57% or 12.5 points to trade at 118.0 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 3.39% or 9.4 points to end at 268.1 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 2.30% or 26.0 points to 1105.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 56 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; gaining 4.77% or 28.0 to 615.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.65% or 0.41 to $63.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.98% or 0.70 to hit $72.24 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.75 to trade at $1285.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.6586, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4666.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.262.
