Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 1.28% or 1.85 points to trade at 146.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 0.90% or 3.00 points to end at 336.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.38% or 3.80 points to 993.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 6.34% or 13.28 points to trade at 196.20 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 6.19% or 31.90 points to end at 483.30 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 5.78% or 8.60 points to 140.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 37 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 6.53% or 4.66 to $66.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 6.30% or 4.88 to hit $72.57 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.42% or 27.15 to trade at $1,938.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.82% to 7.06, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.28% at 104.54.
