Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.91%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 7.65% or 12.25 points to trade at 172.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 5.36% or 4.52 points to end at 88.90 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.47% or 390.00 points to 16,150.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 7.35% or 29.90 points to trade at 376.90 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.21% or 18.10 points to end at 801.00 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 1.86% or 7.80 points to 410.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 74 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.10% or 1.82 to $88.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.06% or 1.91 to hit $94.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 6.25 to trade at $1,646.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 7.55, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 111.63.
