Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.83% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 5.82% or 6.30 points to trade at 114.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 3.53% or 30.80 points to end at 904.20 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.65% or 254.00 points to 9,856.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which fell 6.90% or 28.20 points to trade at 380.20 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 5.79% or 8.90 points to end at 144.80 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 4.60% or 39.60 points to 821.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 109 to 37 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.10% or 1.30 to $60.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.95% or 1.28 to hit $64.30 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.20% or 36.46 to trade at $2,998.94 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.59% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK rose 0.13% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 103.25.
