Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.83% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 3.66% or 19.50 points to trade at 553.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 2.91% or 3.50 points to end at 123.70 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 1.60% or 14.00 points to 888.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 2.50% or 35.00 points to trade at 1,364.00 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 2.32% or 5.50 points to end at 232.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 2.28% or 5.60 points to 240.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 45 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.28% or 5.60 to 240.40.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.06% or 0.74 to $69.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.04% or 0.76 to hit $72.58 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 27.21 to trade at $3,118.11 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 103.65.
