Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.79%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 3.11% or 7.20 points to trade at 238.80 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.38% or 165.00 points to end at 12,165.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 1.11% or 6.50 points to 592.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 2.16% or 24.50 points to trade at 1,108.50 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 1.78% or 9.30 points to end at 512.40 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was down 1.54% or 4.90 points to 312.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 54 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.54% or 0.37 to $68.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.36% or 0.26 to hit $72.11 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 14.25 to trade at $3,058.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.72.
