Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which rose 1.01% or 7.0 points to trade at 700.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 0.76% or 4 points to end at 555 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 0.65% or 2.3 points to 357.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 2.74% or 60.0 points to trade at 2130.0 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 1.91% or 4.2 points to end at 215.6 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 1.86% or 3.5 points to 185.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 59 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.29% or 0.50 to $38.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.97% or 0.40 to hit $40.65 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 10.75 to trade at $1781.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.6409, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4542.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 97.440.
