Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 4.23% or 15.0 points to trade at 370.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 1.35% or 1.4 points to end at 108.7 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.14% or 7.4 points to 654.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 2.02% or 8.4 points to trade at 410.2 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 1.32% or 4.4 points to end at 327.8 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 1.17% or 18.0 points to 1516.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 60 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.23% or 15.0 to 370.0.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.50% or 0.87 to $58.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.27% or 0.81 to hit $64.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.65 to trade at $1551.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.7118, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4729.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 97.075.
