Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.76% or 395.00 points to trade at 10,905.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 3.66% or 3.60 points to end at 101.10 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 3.41% or 350.00 points to 10,600.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which fell 2.76% or 19.50 points to trade at 688.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 2.35% or 19.20 points to end at 798.80 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 1.18% or 7.10 points to 592.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 58 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.38% or 0.28 to $72.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.41% or 0.31 to hit $76.27 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 12.74 to trade at $2,869.84 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.31% to 7.19, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.92% at 107.88.
