Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 1.71% or 15.20 points to trade at 906.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 0.03% or 0.20 points to end at 776.40 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 0.09% or 0.50 points to 583.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which fell 6.26% or 32.80 points to trade at 491.20 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.31% or 3.20 points to end at 133.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 2.21% or 28.00 points to 1,240.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 42 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.95% or 1.34 to $69.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.67% or 1.20 to hit $73.27 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.55% or 45.40 to trade at $2,885.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.74% to 7.17, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.76% at 107.14.
