Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.41%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Financials sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.41%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 0.70% or 80 points to trade at 11480 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CSE:DSV) added 0.52% or 5.2 points to end at 1004.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 0.30% or 3.5 points to 1159.5 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which fell 2.27% or 4.5 points to trade at 196.1 at the close. William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.25% or 5.1 points to end at 221.2 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.88% or 7.0 points to 365.3.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 51 and 24 ended unchanged.

Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.70% or 80 to 11480.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.65% or 0.27 to $41.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.78% or 0.34 to hit $43.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 2.85 to trade at $1884.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.2779, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4469.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 92.442.
