Trump slaps 30% tariffs on EU, Mexico
Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 3.60% or 10.00 points to trade at 288.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.97% or 2.50 points to end at 260.10 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 0.89% or 10.50 points to 1,194.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which fell 2.35% or 11.70 points to trade at 485.30 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 0.98% or 1.00 points to end at 101.20 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.74% or 12.00 points to 1,616.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 61 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.40% or 1.56 to $66.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.08% or 1.39 to hit $68.26 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 17.20 to trade at $3,360.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.52% to 6.49, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 98.61.
