Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.67% or 41.0 points to trade at 1158.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) added 2.05% or 3.4 points to end at 169.6 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.36% or 2.6 points to 715.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 3.84% or 12.3 points to trade at 307.8 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 1.88% or 10.6 points to end at 552.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.84% or 5.9 points to 315.3.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 54 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) rose to 5-year highs; rising 0.36% or 2.6 to 715.6.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.40% or 0.83 to $60.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.20% or 0.81 to hit $68.42 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.55 to trade at $1317.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.75% to 6.5240, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4622.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 95.243.
