Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.60% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 2.81% or 14.5 points to trade at 530.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 0.91% or 2.8 points to end at 311.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 0.19% or 0.3 points to 162.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 2.38% or 270 points to trade at 11060 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.96% or 230 points to end at 11500 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 1.41% or 20.0 points to 1395.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 32 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.81% or 14.5 to 530.5. Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) rose to all time highs; rising 0.91% or 2.8 to 311.0.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.25% or 0.12 to $48.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.35% or 0.18 to hit $50.78 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.35 to trade at $1249.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.02% to 6.8805, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4381.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 99.40.
