Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.08% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 3.20% or 15.4 points to trade at 497.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 2.91% or 7.8 points to end at 276.1 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was up 2.47% or 3.00 points to 124.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 0.72% or 0.26 points to trade at 35.99 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.17% or 1.5 points to end at 900.0 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was down 0.04% or 0.10 points to 260.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 41 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.49% or 0.26 to $53.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.65% or 0.36 to hit $55.94 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 6.55 to trade at $1204.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.47% to 6.9192, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4377.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 99.89.
