Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.99%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 3.78% or 10.8 points to trade at 296.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.19% or 17.5 points to end at 816.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.59% or 6.9 points to 440.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which fell 2.04% or 2.4 points to trade at 115.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 0.48% or 1.0 points to end at 205.4 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 0.07% or 0.2 points to 291.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 54 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 4.52% or 1.96 to $45.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 4.16% or 1.85 to hit $46.28 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.23% or 2.85 to trade at $1224.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.9411, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4447.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 100.19.
