Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.85%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.91% or 15.5 points to trade at 547.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 2.54% or 13.5 points to end at 544.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 2.22% or 6.9 points to 317.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 0.17% or 0.6 points to trade at 359.0 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 0.08% or 0.03 points to end at 36.33 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 0.07% or 1.0 points to 1394.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 45 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.54% or 13.5 to 544.0. Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) rose to all time highs; up 2.22% or 6.9 to 317.9.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.42% or 0.20 to $47.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $50.66 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 3.15 to trade at $1246.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.8962, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4361.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 99.55.
