Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 4.39% or 59.0 points to trade at 1403.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 3.95% or 27.0 points to end at 710.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 3.49% or 5.7 points to 168.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 0.95% or 0.36 points to trade at 37.40 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.59% or 1.70 points to end at 284.30 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 0.58% or 1.5 points to 256.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 55 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) rose to 3-years highs; up 3.49% or 5.7 to 168.8.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.53% or 1.62 to $47.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.22% or 1.57 to hit $50.30 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 5.73 to trade at $1221.83 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.8418, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4407.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 99.43.
