Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.15% or 0.79 points to trade at 37.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.73% or 4.7 points to end at 277.1 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.60% or 5.4 points to 343.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 1.34% or 9.0 points to trade at 662.0 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.20% or 17.0 points to end at 1401.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.39% or 1.4 points to 355.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 62 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.87% or 0.44 to $51.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.60% or 0.32 to hit $53.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 5.90 to trade at $1259.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.6279, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4448.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 96.88.
