Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.76% or 19.0 points to trade at 708.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 2.37% or 6.7 points to end at 289.7 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.31% or 8.0 points to 616.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 1.07% or 4.3 points to trade at 398.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 0.64% or 3.5 points to end at 539.5 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was down 0.44% or 0.35 points to 79.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 34 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.34% or 1.55 to $47.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 3.13% or 1.52 to hit $50.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.05 to trade at $1250.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.3813, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4371.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 93.83.
