Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.60% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 4.45% or 450 points to trade at 10570 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 4.23% or 410 points to end at 10100 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 2.66% or 8.5 points to 327.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 4.88% or 20.8 points to trade at 405.4 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 2.04% or 2.8 points to end at 134.2 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.87% or 1.0 points to 113.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 53 to 49 and 31 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.43% or 0.71 to $50.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.21% or 0.64 to hit $53.64 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.39% or 4.65 to trade at $1172.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.31% to 7.0091, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4394.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.88% at 101.16.
