Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.56% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 1.94% or 4.7 points to trade at 246.4 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.07% or 0.40 points to end at 37.65 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was up 0.92% or 1.10 points to 120.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 0.84% or 3.2 points to trade at 378.2 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 0.83% or 2.9 points to end at 347.1 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 0.63% or 1.60 points to 253.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 59 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.21% or 0.11 to $53.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.23% or 0.13 to hit $55.62 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.35 to trade at $1239.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.53% to 6.9760, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4340.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 100.60.
