Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.37% or 19.0 points to trade at 1402.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 1.19% or 2.8 points to end at 238.7 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.01% or 3.2 points to 320.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which fell 1.19% or 6.5 points to trade at 542.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 0.63% or 2.8 points to end at 438.3 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was down 0.36% or 0.40 points to 110.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 33 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) rose to all time highs; rising 1.01% or 3.2 to 320.0.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.84% or 0.88 to $48.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.63% or 0.83 to hit $51.73 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1254.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.8625, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4412.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 99.19.
