Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.65% or 420 points to trade at 11940 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.81% or 310 points to end at 11360 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 2.13% or 18.0 points to 862.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which fell 0.92% or 2.40 points to trade at 259.50 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 0.84% or 0.31 points to end at 36.42 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 0.82% or 2.10 points to 253.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 56 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.92% or 1.02 to $54.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.10% or 1.17 to hit $56.80 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.35 to trade at $1234.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.9865, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4357.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 100.69.
