Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.39% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.91% or 27.0 points to trade at 1440.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 1.58% or 5.6 points to end at 360.0 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 1.14% or 3.30 points to 292.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 3.06% or 10.8 points to trade at 342.5 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.99% or 12.5 points to end at 615.0 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was down 1.05% or 1.40 points to 131.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 49 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; up 1.14% or 3.30 to 292.40.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.18% or 0.57 to $48.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.77% or 0.39 to hit $51.15 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 8.32 to trade at $1263.68 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.6352, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4386.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 97.16.
