Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.69% or 7.0 points to trade at 420.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.44% or 3.8 points to end at 268.3 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.28% or 3.10 points to 244.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 0.61% or 70 points to trade at 11490 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.38% or 5.0 points to end at 1328.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 0.36% or 40 points to 10980.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 61 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.56% or 0.82 to $53.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.79% or 0.99 to hit $56.31 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.28% or 15.35 to trade at $1211.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.85% to 6.8964, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4363.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 99.66.
