Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 0.75% or 1.5 points to trade at 202.5 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 0.65% or 0.25 points to end at 38.81 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 0.62% or 1.8 points to 294.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 3.32% or 12.8 points to trade at 373.2 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 0.97% or 7.0 points to end at 712.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 0.95% or 4.7 points to 489.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 52 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.56% or 0.24 to $42.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.64% or 0.29 to hit $45.51 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 8.02 to trade at $1257.42 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.6432, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4371.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 96.96.
