Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.01% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.06% or 1.7 points to trade at 161.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.75% or 5.5 points to end at 741.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.70% or 4.0 points to 574.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 0.77% or 2.7 points to trade at 349.1 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 0.76% or 1.8 points to end at 233.6 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 0.63% or 8.0 points to 1270.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 47 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.34% or 0.18 to $53.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $56.02 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.42% or 17.75 to trade at $1271.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 7.0060, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 100.61.
