Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 3.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 8.01% or 84.50 points to trade at 1,139.50 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 7.76% or 710.00 points to end at 9,860.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 7.45% or 65.80 points to 949.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 1.39% or 5.60 points to trade at 409.60 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 1.84% or 2.70 points to end at 149.70 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 2.08% or 16.80 points to 824.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 121 to 23 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 4.09% or 2.55 to $59.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 3.62% or 2.37 to hit $63.11 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 3.56% or 109.61 to trade at $3,189.01 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 2.14% to 6.67, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.79% at 100.78.
