Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool AS B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 5.15% or 16.00 points to trade at 319.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 2.85% or 12.20 points to end at 438.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.17% or 14.00 points to 1,211.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 3.72% or 4.10 points to trade at 106.20 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 1.24% or 1.30 points to end at 103.90 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) was down 1.06% or 5.50 points to 511.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 64 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.13% or 0.08 to $62.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $65.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.58% or 50.29 to trade at $3,237.59 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.82% to 6.63, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.81% at 100.13.
