Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 3.62% or 32.00 points to trade at 915.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) added 2.63% or 15.50 points to end at 604.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 2.25% or 12.50 points to 569.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 0.67% or 2.70 points to trade at 402.60 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 0.05% or 5.00 points to end at 11,070.00 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 0.08% or 1.50 points to 1,946.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 43 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.36% or 1.03 to $74.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.15% or 0.91 to hit $78.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 7.20 to trade at $2,432.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.13% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 104.42.
