Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 7.97% or 32.70 points to trade at 443.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 4.86% or 9.50 points to end at 203.70 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) was up 4.60% or 20.20 points to 459.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 0.02% or 0.10 points to trade at 434.10 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) added 0.07% or 0.20 points to end at 269.40 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 0.17% or 0.80 points to 483.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 117 to 23 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.28% or 0.17 to $60.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.39% or 0.25 to hit $63.96 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.65% or 49.21 to trade at $3,022.81 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 102.97.
