Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 1.45% or 11.40 points to trade at 798.20 at the close. Meanwhile, NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) added 0.40% or 2.50 points to end at 635.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.31% or 0.50 points to 159.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 4.88% or 550.00 points to trade at 10,710.00 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 4.63% or 6.90 points to end at 141.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 4.52% or 490.00 points to 10,360.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 50 and 12 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 4.36% or 2.97 to $71.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 4.03% or 2.89 to hit $74.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.02% or 27.20 to trade at $2,686.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.67% to 6.74, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 101.00.
