Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.21%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.21%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 4.60% or 110 points to trade at 2502 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 4.12% or 27.2 points to end at 687.6 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 3.26% or 475 points to 15030 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM), which fell 2.12% or 16.5 points to trade at 761.5 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 1.60% or 1.95 points to end at 120.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 1.39% or 13.0 points to 922.4.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 53 and 11 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.12% or 27.2 to 687.6.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 9.69% or 6.26 to $58.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 9.53% or 6.48 to hit $61.52 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 6.10 to trade at $1733.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.57% to 6.2423, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4360.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.49% at 91.880.
