Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 9.25% or 106.50 points to trade at 1,257.50 at the close. Meanwhile, NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) added 4.39% or 21.30 points to end at 506.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 3.27% or 6.80 points to 215.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which fell 2.34% or 10.20 points to trade at 425.70 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) declined 1.51% or 6.80 points to end at 445.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.51% or 0.60 points to 117.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 44 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.55% or 0.34 to $61.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.57% or 0.37 to hit $64.51 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 12.81 to trade at $3,239.11 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.34% to 6.60, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 99.68.
