Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.00% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.92% or 15.0 points to trade at 528.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.95% or 5.6 points to end at 293.1 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.94% or 27.0 points to 1422.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 0.78% or 2.7 points to trade at 344.8 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 0.76% or 2.1 points to end at 272.5 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 0.56% or 0.9 points to 159.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 42 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.64% or 0.88 to $54.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.32% or 0.74 to hit $56.92 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1239.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.62% to 7.0469, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4332.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 101.37.
