Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.83% or 25.0 points to trade at 1392.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.83% or 7.5 points to end at 417.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 1.70% or 190 points to 11380 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which fell 1.34% or 1.50 points to trade at 110.20 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 0.33% or 0.12 points to end at 36.23 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 0.08% or 0.20 points to 252.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 31 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.03% or 0.51 to $48.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.11% or 0.58 to hit $51.61 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 2.95 to trade at $1200.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.90% to 6.9659, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4341.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.56% at 101.41.
