Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.67%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.49% or 16.5 points to trade at 680.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.64% or 21.0 points to end at 1299.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.62% or 7.1 points to 445.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 0.44% or 1.5 points to trade at 336.5 at the close. Nets A/S (CO:NETS) declined 0.17% or 0.20 points to end at 115.00 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 0.11% or 0.4 points to 365.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 38 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.43% or 0.75 to $51.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.49% or 0.82 to hit $54.07 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 10.60 to trade at $1283.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.9433, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 99.68.
