Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 2.40% or 6.30 points to trade at 268.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 2.05% or 9.0 points to end at 447.6 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.40% or 7.5 points to 544.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 4.95% or 70.0 points to trade at 1343.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 1.57% or 4.20 points to end at 263.70 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.53% or 180 points to 11570.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 53 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.05% or 9.0 to 447.6.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.22% or 0.11 to $50.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.40% or 0.21 to hit $53.34 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1244.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.9561, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4373.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 100.21.
