Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.90% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 1.23% or 740.0 points to trade at 60760.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 0.92% or 240.0 points to end at 26260.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was down 0.14% or 40.0 points to 27620.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which fell 12.96% or 2760.0 points to trade at 18540.0 at the close. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) declined 4.09% or 320.0 points to end at 7500.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was down 3.42% or 55.0 points to 1555.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 23 to 3 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) fell to 3-years lows; down 12.96% or 2760.0 to 18540.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.47% or 1.85 to $123.88 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 1.11% or 35.50 to hit $3166.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.87% or 9.50 to trade at $1085.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.19% to 2885.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.71% to 835.19.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.28% at 97.59.
