Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 0.82% or 10.0 points to trade at 1225.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 0.75% or 30.0 points to end at 4040.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 0.46% or 120.0 points to 26140.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etb (CN:ETB), which fell 2.17% or 13.0 points to trade at 585.0 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) declined 1.80% or 460.0 points to end at 25040.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was down 1.25% or 480.0 points to 37920.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 8 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.95% or 1.43 to $152.38 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.75% or 20.00 to hit $2655.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1256.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.62% to 2904.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.81% to 906.71.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.21% at 97.93.
