Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 1.71% or 200.0 points to trade at 11900.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 1.29% or 140.0 points to end at 10980.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.18% or 360.0 points to 30960.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which fell 2.08% or 1300.0 points to trade at 61100.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.49% or 140.0 points to end at 9260.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) was down 1.25% or 8.0 points to 630.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 14 to 12 and 5 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.84% or 1.25 to $150.82 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.70% or 82.50 to hit $2146.50 , while the February Gold contract fell 0.59% or 7.15 to trade at $1204.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.41% to 2947.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.48% to 922.04.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.15% at 101.16.
