Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 5.56% or 5.00 points to trade at 95.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 5.26% or 400.00 points to end at 8,000.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) was up 2.42% or 800.00 points to 33,800.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB), which fell 1.95% or 50.00 points to trade at 2,510.00 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) declined 1.92% or 1,000.00 points to end at 51,000.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) was down 1.34% or 30.00 points to 2,210.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) rose to 5-year highs; up 5.26% or 400.00 to 8,000.00.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.75% or 4.28 to $249.13 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.71% or 233.00 to hit $8,357.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 5.80 to trade at $2,416.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.18% to 3,928.33, while BRL/COP fell 1.00% to 723.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 103.77.
