Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 2.21% or 540.0 points to trade at 24980.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 1.80% or 320.0 points to end at 18080.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.51% or 400.0 points to 26900.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which fell 1.19% or 15.0 points to trade at 1245.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 0.51% or 50.0 points to end at 9830.0 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was down 0.21% or 80.0 points to 38300.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 4 and 6 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.11% or 0.16 to $141.32 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 2.16% or 65.50 to hit $2971.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.27% or 3.65 to trade at $1344.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.32% to 2985.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.65% to 949.65.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 96.09.
