Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.41% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 9.17% or 220.0 points to trade at 2620.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 2.26% or 600.0 points to end at 27100.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.96% or 560.0 points to 29100.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 1.97% or 220.0 points to trade at 10960.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 1.87% or 20.0 points to end at 1050.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was down 1.74% or 1080.0 points to 61000.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 12 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.40% or 2.29 to $161.48 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.55% or 42.50 to hit $2696.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 1.28% or 16.35 to trade at $1289.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.58% to 3023.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.89% to 933.98.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.58% at 97.75.
